Meet Our Team

Dr. Budrewicz is originally from Windsor, Ontario where he grew up and earned his undergraduate university degree. He graduated and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in the United States. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. He believes in high quality dentistry that is patient focused and individualized. He is committed to lifelong learning and using new skills and technologies to provide the best care possible. He attends multiple continuing education courses in order to stay current with the ever advancing knowledge and technologies of dentistry. He takes pride in all areas of dentistry, including treating children. Dr. Budrewicz is certified and experienced in the placement and restoration of dental implants. He participated in a dental humanitarian trip to Honduras where he had the privilege of providing care to those who would otherwise receive no care. He believes this experience has made him a better person and dentist and he looks forward to future humanitarian opportunities.

Dr. Budrewicz and his wife moved to the Blue Mountains in 2009. They have two sons and a daughter. Dr. Budrewicz was drawn to the area by the healthy, active and relaxed lifestyle. He enjoys skiing and hockey in the winter and cycling, golfing and the waterfront in the summer. He enjoys the small town charm and the friendly, warm people. He is honored to be an active member of the Thornbury community. He looks forward to meeting you and your family.

Dr. Jordan Elwood graduated from Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, with Distinction. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Elwood completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, while also competing for the NCAA men’s varsity hockey team. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association.

Through various volunteering efforts, Dr. Elwood has been afforded the opportunity to work with a diverse patient base. He has travelled to Whitehouse, Jamaica, to provide free dental care to the community during an outreach trip. He has also travelled to Moose Factory, Ontario, where he provided free dental care to members of the Moose Cree First Nation at the Weeneebayko General Hospital. These efforts have provided Dr. Elwood with valuable
experience in a wide range of general dentistry – including working with children!

Dr. Elwood lives in the Blue Mountains with his wife and their black Labrador retriever, Moose. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, biking, golfing, and spending time at the many beaches the Georgian Triangle has to offer.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry? Our office is more modern as far as our equipment and training is concerned, yet we keep the “small town” feel. I also enjoy the other staff members, we are like a family.

Why I love our community? I enjoy getting to know so many people from our community. I think it is all our residents that make our community great!

What I enjoy outside the office? I enjoy my family, friends and the outdoors.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry?   I have spent the last 20 years working in dentistry. I enjoy working with all my coworkers. Everyone works together and are always willing to help each other. It is a fantastic work environment.

Why I love our community?   My husband and I moved up to this area from Waterloo. We love the small town feel and living by the water. The area is beautiful and the people are friendly.

What I enjoy outside the office?   In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband on our boat, kayaking, and travelling to new places.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry?We have a great team with friendly staff that is knowledgeable and fun to work with making the office a fantastic environment for everyone.

Why I love our community? What’s not to love about a place that offers fun activities for all 4 seasons. We have beautiful water fronts, big ski hills and everything in between to enjoy the great outdoors.

What I enjoy outside the office? I love spending time with my family exploring the area and making memories.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry?   I joined Thornbury Dental January 2024. I was greeted by an amazing team that is so friendly and supportive. What I like about Thornbury Dental is that all of the team have the same goal to help make clients comfortable and achieve optimal oral health. I have been in the dental field for 25 years and this is what I enjoy most about my job. Meeting wonderful clients, providing dental therapy and educating them on oral health.

Why I love our community? Thornbury is a very unique town with a beautiful landscape to enjoy outdoor activities in all four seasons. Great restaurants and a supportive community of all local businesses.

What I enjoy outside the office? Outside the office I enjoy skiing, walking, travelling and spending time with my family. Watching and supporting the kids in all their activities. We have always tried to stay active as a family.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry?   I like the great team atmosphere as everyone is always willing to help one another. Dentistry is a great career as it’s very rewarding helping patients improve and maintain their oral health which often times boost confidence!

Why I love our community?  Growing up in the area, there’s nothing better than a small town as you’re always bound to see familiar faces and it’s great to see the community coming together when needed.

What I enjoy outside the office?  In my free time, I like spending time with family and friends, staying active with sports and
walking my dog Bailey!

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry? The staff are very friendly and professional. I love how involved in the community they are.

Why I love our community? I love the quaint cute town that Thornbury dental resides. Everybody is so friendly and easy going. It is genuinely so nice seeing everyone in and out of the office and supporting local businesses.

What I enjoy outside the office? When I am not cleaning teeth I teach Yoga at different studios in town. Outside of work I am active working out, walking my dog or chilling reading a book.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry? I like the variety of things that we do at our office. Not every day is the same which brings lots of learning experiences.

Why I love our community? I love the small town feeling and that we have a 4 season community. There are many things to do no matter what the weather brings!

What I enjoy outside the office? I love being with friends and family, camping and snowmobiling. I also love being outside and soaking up the sun!

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry? I love working at Thornbury Dental because every morning I walk into work to smiling and friendly faces. I am proud to be a part of talented, passionate and kind dentists who put their patients needs first and always make everyone feel comfortable.

Why I love our community?Thornbury and the surrounding communities offer so much to everyone of all ages which is what I love about living here. From skiing, hiking, biking, tennis, pickleball- you can never get bored!

What I enjoy outside the office? When I am not working you can usually find me with my 2 daughters and our Goldendoodle, Dwight. I have recently taken up Yoga and I am loving it. Exercise, beaches and family are some of my many favourite things.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry?  I love Thornbury Dental because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the amazing team I get to work with every day. I enjoy dentistry because it’s hands-on and allows me to support both patients and the team. Helping create a comfortable experience while learning different aspects of dental care makes every day interesting and rewarding.

Why I love our community?  Our community is special because of it’s friendly, supportive nature. There’s a strong sense of connection among the people here, and I love the sense of belonging it brings. Whether it’s at work, out in town, or at local events, it truly feels like home.

What I enjoy outside the office? Outside of work, I love staying active with my partner, whether it’s working out, spending time by the beach, or even floating down the river. We also share a passion for photography, hiking, and trying out new restaurants. When I’m at home, I enjoy cooking and baking—it’s a great way to relax and be creative.
